RE: Request for Information on Cybersecurity Regulatory Harmonization

The Cybersecurity Coalition (the Coalition) submits the following comments in response to theOffice of the National Cyber Director (ONCD) Request for Information on CybersecurityRegulatory Harmonization.1 The Coalition appreciates the opportunity to provide input, and wecommend ONCD, in coordination with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), for itsopenness and commitment to working with industry stakeholders to address cybersecurityregulatory fragmentation.

The Coalition is composed of leading companies with a specialty in cybersecurity products andservices, who are dedicated to finding and advancing consensus policy solutions that promotethe development and adoption of cybersecurity technologies. We seek to ensure a robustmarketplace and effective policy environment that will encourage companies of all sizes to takesteps to improve cybersecurity risk management.

Our response to this request for information is structured into the following sections: 1) Supportfor harmonization, 2) Using FedRAMP as a model for reciprocity, and 3) Coregulatory models todrive harmonization.
