On September 16, the Cybersecurity Coalition submitted comments to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on on the proposed eligible services list (ESL) for the schools and libraries E-Rate program for funding year 2025.
The Coalition’s comments detail its support for the inclusion of standalone Domain Name System (“DNS”) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (“DHCP”) services on the ESL. These services help ensure schools and libraries are able to efficiently and cost effectively operate the modern network infrastructure that E-Rate is meant to enable.
